We support the Paris Agreement's goal to limit global warming to well below 2°C, preferably 1.5°C, above pre-industrial levels. We believe this requires a stronger global response to climate change.
We're committed to building resilient portfolios and decarbonizing operations to support the transition to a nature-positive, net zero world.

We recognize that carbon offsets are a complementary tool and not a substitute for direct emissions reductions. In 2025, we selected three carbon offset projects supporting verified emission reductions in Canada aligned with our strategy.
The Great Bear Forest Carbon Project is the largest Indigenous-owned, forest-based carbon project in Canada, conserving protected forests in British Columbia previously available for commercial logging.
The Niagara Escarpment Forest Carbon Project promotes ecosystem diversity, protecting forest cover in areas where local pressures threaten land integrity and wildlife habitats.
The Smart Soil Carbon Project helps crop farmers across 300,000 acres in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba transition to no-tillage, reducing carbon and nitrogen fertilizer emissions.
